DWF Princess

Secret's Prince is the winning offspring of two of the most dense alpacas that Dr Evans has ever tested! His sire, the famous Accoyo American Prince, has a density of 90 follicles per sq mm with almost no medullated fibers, and very uniform 11 bundles per sq mm. His dam, AofO Courtney's Secret, has a density of 97 follicles per sq mm with no medullated fibers! Prince just had his skin bio and his density is 68.7 follicles per sq mm with a SP of 12:1 and only a 6.4 micron range between his secondary and primary fibers. His 2010 histogram was 15.8/2.8/17.6/0.2 Take a look at his pedigree and you will see that every generation behind him has a Multi-Champion Producer with their own outstanding show awards! Prince held his own in the very competitive Fawn Classes during his show career, earning three Blue Ribbons and two Second Place Ribbons. We think he's got the genes to make incredible crias with fine, crimpy and dense fleeces! He has just started his breeding career with some of our females this spring.
