This seminar is ideal for all alpaca breeders striving to advance their herd quality (fleece, color, and phenotype). You’ll learn about fleece characteristics and how those characteristics influence the end products such as yarn. We will also discuss getting the colors you desire and will introduce a process to objectively evaluate animals.  We will conclude by putting our discussion to application with a breeding selection exercise.  Attendees will leave with an advanced understanding of how to breed for an end in mind-genetic advancement.  A continental breakfast and lunch are included.
